An 8 Week Incubator for artists and creatives

Dream Spiral is an incubator for artists, creatives, and cultural workers seeking to imagine and rehearse more life-affirming ways of creating and being together.
We will approach our Art not as commodity production, but as a collective practice of world-building.
At a time when creative labor is increasingly outsourced to artificial intelligence and systems of acceleration, Dream Spiral turns toward one of humanity’s oldest technologies: the dream-state.
We will draw from:
ancient practices of dream incubation, ritual descent, grief work, somatic practice, and communal witnessing. The incubator explores dreaming as a simple step towards the human life force of imagination, intuition, and meaning-making..
Dream Spiral is:
a rehearsal space for post-extractive culture
a sanctuary for unlearning productivity as worth
a place where grief, slowness, fear, and relationship shift from interruptions to our making, and become part of the creative process
Rather than centering expertise or output, participants of Dream Spiral show up in weekly zooms to create living containers where emergence itself becomes the teacher. We gather not to escape the realities of collapse, but to face them together through ritual, creativity, and collective imagination — building the emotional, relational, and spiritual infrastructures needed for the worlds we long to inhabit now.

What we will do:
Meet for 2 hours on Monday evening on Zoom at 7:00pm-9:00pm PST from June 22nd to August 10th, 2026
Exercises, assigned readings and emergent practices around dreaming, experimentation and listening/sharing through out

The Spiral is designed to condense the qualities of clarity, devotion, and upliftment. You will be prepared to share it with a broader community. This may look like a physical piece of work - or energetic. Your participation will decide.

Who Is Mary Rose?
An artist, potter, chef, spiritual scientist, voice guide, and community pollinator whose work explores grief, embodiment, dreaming, and collective transformation. Through clay, ritual, sound, writing, and communal practice, she translates the emotional and somatic world into relational stories that disarm the illusion of isolation.
Rooted in her own healing journey, her work bridges cultures, spiritual traditions, genders, and species through witnessing, ritual, and creative inquiry. Her ceremonial vessels and immersive experiences engage themes of loss, devotion, collapse, and renewal — transforming them into spaces of care, imagination, reciprocity, and belonging. Her practice explores how inner transformation shapes collective reality, and how communities might build new worlds through creativity and relationship.
She is the visionary within this Dream Spiral Incubator, a seasonal container for artists and creatives to explore creativity as a practice of liberation, dreaming, and post-extractive culture. Inspired by her personal work in abolitionist thought, grief, dream incubation practices, and embodied ritual, Dream Spiral offers a space where slowness, emergence, grief, and collective imagination become part of the artistic process itself.
Mary Rose is also the creator and host of Nebulous Body Voice Cast, an ongoing audio exploration of creativity through reflection, contemplation, and embodied listening. The voice cast investigates the shifting relationship between reality and what we believe reality to be, inviting listeners into practices of slowing down, deep listening, and courageous perception. Through poetic reflection, somatic inquiry, astrology, grief work, and storytelling, Nebulous Body Voice Cast encourages a willingness to transform through both listening and action — where her performance of spoken word is a devotion to showing up in uncertain times..
